Fashion Design
These are some of my design collections that I have done as a fashion design student over the years. I've explored various themes from the cycle of life to folklore. Feel free to click on the images for a portfolio of the selected theme!

TWISTED ELEGANCE is a unique and elegant Bridal collection influenced by my home country, Indonesia, and aims to promote Indonesian cultures and heritage to reveal a modern perspective. Taking inspiration from the folklore ‘Timun Mas’ (The Golden Cucumber), a Javanese folklore telling the story of a young brave girl, this collection features the twisting of fabric to represent vines crawling onto the body (as the cucumber plant does) with pearl trim details. ‘Tenun Songket’ is chosen as the feature fabric, embellished with gold and silver threads.

Preservation
Preservation is a revision of my other project, Life & Death. I refine my designs in order to achieve a more cohesive & sophisticated look. The theme is inspired by sustainability and preservation.

This project is a collaboration with Marmara University in Turkey. We used their knitted textile design to create a collection based on their chosen theme. Inspired by different architectural sites across the world, it focuses on travel with wide style garments.

This collection is inspired by the nature of Life and Death. I drew raven skulls and made designs out of the collages. Details include cutouts (to symbolise the hollow skulls) and layering (to symbolise the preservation of flowers in ice).

This is a design project inspired by the White Shirt Project (a tribute to Karl Lagerfeld). The theme chosen was 'Art Nouveau', which should incorporate androgynous characteristics as the brief states. This fashion portfolio includes a moodboard, customer profile, market research, design development, range plan, garment flats, and final line up.
